ProjectCompanion - support for project execution and administration
The system provides organizations with an information infrastructure for carrying out multiple projects. Project execution is supported through project plans, project status reports, document sharing, action delegation and project diaries. ProjectCompanion also provides support for time and expense reporting. Further, the system can be used to create invoices in several ways.

System structure
ProjectCompanion consists of a web tool, a management console, Palm OS clients and a report tool. The report tool is based on Microsoft Access, which provides flexibility and makes custom report development easy. The web system runs on Microsoft Internet Information Services IIS . The database is Microsoft Access 2000 or later.

The Standard Edition download file is delivered with a default evaluation license. It is possible to manage three projects at the same time with no user restriction within the license. If you purchase 10 licenses of the Standard Edition, you will get a site license with no restriction on the number of users. Note that Microsoft recommends a maximum of 15 simultaneous users on Microsoft Access databases. For larger installations, we recommend ProjectCompanion Professional Edition, which is based on Microsoft SQL Server.
