WordRead will read any text in a human quality voice from word processors, e-mail software, certain PDF files and internet browsers. WordRead helps you to ensure accuracy of any Word document on your computer. You can check a newly-created document in seconds, or open up a previous file and carry out a proof read.
You can also generate audio wav files to listen to on your portable audio player or playback on your PC.
WordRead uses Realspeak Solo text-to-speech software which provides human voice reading. With WordRead offering more than 15 RealSpeak languages to choose from for text readback, it provides great flexibility for proofing, reading and learning.
This download version of WordRead includes the new Mexican Spanish Realspeak Solo SAPI5 Voice Paulina.The American English Realspeak Voice Jennifer is SAPI5 also.
WordRead is designed to operate with RealSpeak, and RealSpeak is licensed for distribution with WordRead. Due to license restrictions, Realspeak Voices are not available for individual purchase, unless you are purchasing WordRead at the same time, or are an existing WordRead user.
